Coming Soon pages are a great way to get the word out about upcoming projects and persuade visitors to sign up for updates (and hopefully for future conversions). First impression means a lot, that’s why the Coming Soon page should be super slick (obviously, and urge visitors to subscribe right away. Keep in mind that you only have a few seconds to do that!

Iconfinder will launch a marketplace for icons with the best premium stock icons around. Martin LeBlanc and the gang are working on something big and they reward subscribers with a Free icon sets. The beautiful Iconfinder mascot is a great plus.

Menu Maestro
Maestro – beautiful menus that work great on screen and paper. Great simple page!
Squire App
Sit. Watch. Squire is going to revolutionize they way people consume media content.
CSS Piffle
Designing beautiful interfaces without writing any code sounds too good to be true, right? Well, CSS Piffle apparently will prove the opposite. At least they started with a top notch design for the coming soon page.

I like this very minimal approach. Gifs are incredibly effective if used well.
Doorluck
Create, organize and manage contests, sweepstakes and giveaways. A bit too shiny bling bling but might be effective for their target market.
