While print advertising always seems like a marketer’s dream when compared to online ads, it’s yet another field where it’s getting more and more difficult to cut through the noise and deliver the client’s message.
In the digital age, the attention span of the consumer is razor thin, making it harder for advertisers to secure attention whether it’s in print or on the web. To combat this, we’re seeing advertisers reach for a minimalist approach, using little copy and sparse imagery to convey a message simply that gets attention more for what’s not there.
Below is a showcase of 40 creative and beautifully designed minimalist print ads. The messages are quick and easily digestible. Take a look!

I love the Coke ad, but some of these are just ridiculously simple. BMW…waste of white space.

For more insight, I recommend reading neuromarketing books like “the buying brain” by Dr. Praadeep or books from Sands or other neuromarketing specialists. Also, much can be gained by implementing new multi perspective imagery to engage stereopsis vision. This opens up many possibilities! For more info check out the wordpress blog associated with AMPED 3D imagery. (just do a search).
